Sir H. YOUNGThe numbers of persons in Great Britain who on 31st December, 1933, were insured for health and pensions purposes respectively were approximately 18,481,000 and 18,793,000. The number of insured persons who were under the age of 20 on 31st December, 1931 (the latest date for which such figures are available) was approximately 2,500,000.
