Mr. Roger Kingasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what information he has as to the number of heavy goods and public service vehicles stopped for exceeding motorway speed limits in the last 12 months.

Information on total findings of guilt for speed limit offences is published in table 4 of "Offences Relating to Motor Vehicles, Supplementary Tables, 1981" which is in the Library of the House.
