§ Mr. EDENI would refer my hon. Friend to the reply returned by the Prime Minister to my hon. Friend the Member for South Kensington (Sir W. Davison) on 11th April last. As the hon. Member will realise from the terms of that reply, His Majesty's Government do not think it practicable to connect in this way the two questions of trade with the Union of Socialist Soviet Republics and British claims against the Soviet Government.
