§ Mr. PYBUSWorks of this nature usually form part of larger improvement schemes which require several years for their execution. It would not be possible to obtain the number of level crossings actually replaced during the two years referred to in the question, or now in process of replacement, without making inquiries from all highway authorities through the divisional officers of the Department. I hope, therefore, that my hon. Friend will not press for this return.
