§ Dr. O'DONOVANasked the Minister of Health if he is able to give the details of existing arrangements for the inter-changeability of pension schemes for nurses, sisters and matrons in municipal hospitals; and will he be prepared to co-ordinate the nurses' pension schemes in federated voluntary hospitals and in municipal hospitals?
Sir H. YOUNGI would refer ray hon. Friend to the provisions of the Local Government and Other Officers Super-270W annuation Act, 1922, and particularly to Sections 8 and 16 of that Act. I am, as my predecessors have been, willing to consider any practicable proposal on the lines mentioned in the second part of the question, but no such scheme has as yet been submitted.
