HC Deb 04 February 1932 vol 261 c270W
Major NATHAN

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs in reference to the present situation in China, whether His Majesty's Government have ascertained the views of the Dominions, especially Australia, New Zealand and Canada; and whether the policy now being pursued represents a concerted Empire policy?

Mr. EDEN

His Majesty's Governments in the Dominions have been kept in close touch with the situation throughout, both by telegraph and by conversations with their representatives now at Geneva, and I have no reason to doubt that the policy now being followed by His Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom commands their general assent.
