§ Major ELLIOTThe prospects of marine pisciculture have been the subject of careful scientific study, which has shown that its economic possibilities are very limited. I would point out, however, that the difficulties of the fishing industry are due chiefly to low prices, which are largely the result of the abundant supplies already existing.
