Major LLOYD GEORGEAs the House has already been informed, some brands of canned goods have been advanced by varying amounts in price in view of the fall in sterling exchanges, but so far as we know, retail prices have not risen. If a foreign firm sending goods to this country raises prices and other firms do not, purchasers will be well advised to deal with British firms supplying goods at a lower price.
