§ Mr. GRANVILLEasked the Minister of Agriculture if he will appoint a committee of inquiry into the conditions of the sugar-beet industry, and the operation of the subsidy in its effect on prices paid by the factories to the grower?
§ Dr. ADDISONI see no necessity at the present time for the appointment of the committee of inquiry suggested. I may add that a comprehensive report on the sugar-beet industry will shortly be issued by the Ministry as one of its Economic Series of publications.
