Mr. W. ADAMSONThe meetings of the Scottish Advisory Committee on Rivers Pollution Prevention are not held at stated intervals. Arrangements have recently been made which, it is hoped, will enable the committee to proceed more rapidly with its work in the future. I may add that the first report of the committee, dealing with the River Tweed and its tributaries, will shortly be issued, while the report on the River Esk (Midlothian) is in course of preparation.
