asked the Minister of Labour the number of working days lost in trade disputes during this year and the corresponding figures for the same period last year?

The number of working days lost through industrial disputes reported as having been in progress in Great Britain and Northern Ireland in the four months January-April, 1930, is estimated to have been approximately 1,500,000. The corresponding total for the four months January-April, 1929, was about 490,000.
