HC Deb 07 February 1930 vol 234 cc2248-9W
Mr. KELLY

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty the number of candidates who have sat for the dockyard apprentices examination; the number that have passed: and the number that have subsequently completed their fourth year of attendance at the dockyard schools, in each year since 1918?

Mr. AMMON

The information is as follows:

of such men that have left or been discharged from the dockyards during each year since 1920?

Mr. AMMON

I am afraid that this information is not readily available, and its compilation would entail an expendi- ture of time and labour which, I hope, my hon. Friend will agree would not be justified by the results.
