§ Mr. McGOVERNasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will instruct those responsible for Government steel houses at Sandyhills, Shettleston, to have the private roads and footpaths put into proper order?

ADAMSONI am informed that attention is being given to the upkeep of the roads and footpaths at Sandyhills, Shettleston, on the property of the Second Scottish National Housing Company (Housing Trust), Limited, and that their condition compares favourably with that of paths and roads belonging to other proprietors in the neighbourhood. If, however, my hon. Friend will supply me with the names of the roads to which he refers, I shall have inquiry made into their condition.
