§ Mr. PETHICK-LAWRENCEThis Return is in an advanced stage of preparation and will, it is hoped, be ready for publication within the next few weeks. It was moved for in April as a formality but as its value largely depends on figures of actual expenditure by local authorities which are not known before the autumn earlier publication was impracticable.
