Mr. THOMASThe coal sent to Canada this summer—about 900 tons of Welsh locomotive coal—was sent on private account and no Government money is involved. Similarly, the Canadian coal brought back to this country has been supplied without charge. Experiments are still in progress on the mixing of this coal with British coal.
