HC Deb 12 November 1929 vol 231 cc1749-50W
Sir K. WOOD

asked the Attorney-General how many prosecutions there have been under the Conspiracy and Protection of Property Act, 1875, as amended by the Trade Disputes and Trade Union Act, 1927; and whether there have been any other proceedings under the last-named Act?

The SOLICITOR-GENERAL

No in formation is available to show the number of prosecutions under the Act of 1875 as amended by the Act of 1927. In reply to the last part of the question one action was taken in the name of the Attorney-General to restrain a municipal corporation from acting upon certain resolutions contrary to Section 6 (1) of the Act of 1927, but with this exception no proceedings have been taken under the Act of 1927.
