§ Mr. LUNNGenerally speaking, the duties to which the hon. Member refers have been imposed by the Colonies and Dependencies for revenue purposes, but in a number of cases Empire imports enjoy preferential rates. It is not proposed at present to suggest to Colonial Administrations any alterations in the principles which determine their tariff policy.
