JOYNSON-HICKSThe following table gives the numbers of Metropolitan police pensioners in receipt of pensions at or about the pre-War level (i.e., pensions granted before 1st April, 1919, when the rates of pay recommended by the Desborough Committee took effect) and the number of such pensioners in receipt of increases of pension under the Pensions (Increase) Acts at the dates shown:
