§ Mr. D. G. SOMERVILLEasked the Minister of Health if he will lay upon the Table of the House a statement showing the different forms of State help afforded under existing legislation to an ordinary insured family of husband wife and three children?
§ Mr. GREENWOODI am not quite clear as to the scope and nature of the information desired by the hon. Member, but I would refer him to the Report of the Committee on Public Assistance Administration, Cmd. 2011, which gives an account of the main forms of State help. Since the issue of that Report the Widows', Orphans' and Old Age Contributory Pensions Act, 1925, has been passed and I am sending him particulars of that scheme.
