PERCYThe Board do not prescribe the subjects to be included in the curriculum of elementary schools, but their Handbook of Suggestions for Teachers calls attention to the desirability of inculcating kindness to animals and to the opportunities for doing so, and I have every reason to believe that teachers take full advantage of these opportunities.
