The total number of ex-service men (including ex-service temporary clerks) on the staff of the Scottish Board of Health at each of the three dates referred to was 279, 360 and 344, 613W respectively. The corresponding figures in respect of women of all grades on the Board's staff were 185, 213 and 222.
