(2) whether he is aware that complaints continue to be made as to telegraphic delays between Sheffield and London; and what is being done to remove the cause?
§ Sir W. MITCHELL-THOMSONA direct telegraph circuit between the London Stock Exchange and the Sheffield Post Office has recently been suspended because the traffic was not sufficient to warrant its continuance. I am aware that complaints of delay have been made, and the matter is under investigation and discussion with the Stock Exchange authorities.
