HC Deb 15 November 1928 vol 222 cc1108-9W
Mr. C. EDWARDS

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will take steps to abolish the means limit under the Old Age Pensions Acts, 1908 to 1924, or, alternatively, will he take steps to alter the method of calculating the yearly value of property as set forth in paragraph (a) of Section 4 (1) of the Old Age Pension Act, 1919, which creates much dissatisfaction?

Mr. CHURCHILL
