HC Deb 13 November 1928 vol 222 c707W
Mr. DAY

asked the Minister of Transport whether his attention has been drawn to the dangerous state of the Colnbrook by-pass section of the Bath road during wet weather; and what action he has taken in the matter?

Colonel ASHLEY

When this new bypass was first opened, parts of the carriageway were found to be slippery under certain weather conditions. The surface has since been satisfactorily improved by the application of suitable dressings.
