HC Deb 12 November 1928 vol 222 cc515-6W
Sir F. NELSON

asked the Postmaster-General how many accidents have been reported to him since November, 1924, directly or indirectly attributable to ob- struction of the highway owing to the laying or repair of telephone and telegraph wires or posts?

Viscount WOLMER

A summary is not kept of accidents which may be attributed, directly or indirectly, to telegraph or telephone works on highways, and I regret not to be in a position to give the information desired. The number, however, is relatively very small.
