HC Deb 05 April 1928 vol 215 cc2151-2W
Mr. WELLOCK

asked the hon. Member for Monmouth, as representing the Forestry Commissioners, if he can give an estimate of the income anticipated by the Commissioners from land already planted and in their possession during the next 10 years?

Sir L. FORESTIER-WALKER

The income from timber sales by the Forestry Commissioners during the next 10 years is estimated at approximately £550,000. The amount depends on a number of factors, such as timber prices, which cannot be accurately forecast.
