Trade with the Irish Free State, recorded as external trade after March, 1923, has, for purposes of better comparison over the series of years, been excluded throughout.
Separate particulars of the trade with Palestine, the Sudan, Iraq, the South-West Africa Protectorate, Tanganyika and Nauru and British Samoa are not available for 1913, when these regions were included in foreign countries, and they have been classed with foreign countries in the above table for all years to preserve comparability. Egypt also has been classed with foreign countries throughout.
