EVANSasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury if he has any list of the cinema films which are retained in public record offices and museums by reason of their historical or other interest; and if he will furnish a list of these films with the dates upon which they were deposited with the authorities?
Mr. SAMUELI am afraid that no list of the nature desired by my hon. and gallant Friend is available. As regards the general question of films of historical interest, I would refer him to the answer given on this subject on the 23rd May last in reply to a question by my hon. Friend the Member for Acton (Sir H. Brittain).
