HC Deb 16 November 1927 vol 210 c1054W
Mr. LUMLEY

asked the Under-Secretary of State for the Home Department, as representing the First Commissioner of Works, if any foreign materials are being used in the building of the new Employment Exchange in Hull?

Sir V. HENDERSON (for The FIRST COMMISSIONER of WORKS)

It is specified that materials of British manufacture only shall be used for the building of the new Employment Exchange in Hull, except where they are unobtainable. If my hon. Friend has any specific point in mind, perhaps he will communicate with me.
