HC Deb 16 November 1927 vol 210 c1054W
Colonel DAY

asked the Under-Secretary of State for the Home Department, as representing the First Commissioner of Works, whether his attention has been drawn to the mechanical and automatic electrical apparatus introduced into the Finnish Parliament for recording Divisions; and whether, in view of the saving of time to the Members of the Finnish Parliament by the use of this apparatus, he has considered the practicability of its introduction into the British House of Commons?

Sir V. HENDERSON (for the FIRST COMMISSIONER of WORKS)

The answer to the first part of the question is in the negative. The second part does not, therefore, arise.
