Mr. BRIANT

asked the Home Secretary if he has any information as to the incidence of lead poisoning from any firms of women decorators?

Sir W. JOYNSON-HICKS

The answer is in the negative.

Mr. BRIANT

asked the Home Secretary if his Department has any record of cases of lead poisoning among women employed in the painting of buildings; and, if so, what is the number of cases of lead poisoning so recorded among such women for each of the last 10 years?

Sir W. JOYNSON-HICKS

The answer to the first part of the question is in the negative; the second part therefore does not arise.
