HC Deb 17 February 1927 vol 202 c1131W
Mr. SCURR

asked the Under-Secretary of State for India whether the Report of the Indian delegation to the recent round-table conference between the Government of India and the Union Government on the question of the position of Asiatics in South Africa has yet been received by the Government of India; and, if so, whether he is in a position to inform the House of the terms of the Report?

Earl WINTERTON

The Indian delegation has informed the Government of India of the results of the conference, but my Noble Friend does not know whether it has presented a formal report. I understand that announcements on the subject will be made simultaneously in the Union Parliament and in the Indian Legislature.
