HC Deb 17 February 1927 vol 202 cc1121-2W
Sir H. BUCKINGHAM

asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury if he will give instructions to the probate-of-wills authorities to issue on request certificated copies of the probate of a will at a nominal cost, and in such form as will satisfy the legal requirements of companies and institutions in which the deceased person owned property; and, if necessary, will he arrange for a clause to be inserted in the forthcoming Companies Amendment Bill designed to render such certificated copies legal proof of probate in all circumstances.
