HC Deb 04 March 1926 vol 192 c1649W
Mr. MACLEAN

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if any application has been received from the Soviet Union Academy of Science to open in London a scientific institution to cooperate with similar scientific institutions in this country, on similar lines to those which were in operation, and maintained by Russia, in Rome, Paris and Constantinople, in pre-War days; and whether he is prepared to consider the granting of facilities for such scientific research work as is proposed?

Sir W. JOYNSON-HICKS

I have been asked to reply. I cannot trace any such application. If received, it would be duly considered.
