§ Sir W. JOYNSON-HICKSIf the hon. Member will permit me, I will give the annual figures as published for past years. For 1924, there were 933 certificates of naturalisation granted and 127 refused; for 1925, 1,074 certificates were granted and 266 refused. For the first five months of the present year 584 certificates have been granted and 73 refused.
