asked the Minister of Health how many hospitals and infirmaries under the control of Poor Law guardians are in use in the administrative county of London; the number of beds provided; the average number of beds occupied; and the cost per week per bed?

asked the Minister of Health the number of persons in receipt of outdoor relief for each of the unions in the administrative county of London for the years 1924 and 1925, respectively?

to Poor Law authorities (other than, the managers of the Metropolitan Asylum district) for the reception of such persons suffering from disease of body and mind. The number of beds provided for such persons in those institutions on 1st January, 1925, was 16,975; the average daily number of inmates during the year ended 31st March, 1925, was 13,844; and the average weekly cost per inmate during that year was 50s. 3d. The last mentioned figure includes the cost of food, clothing, medicine, salaries, etc., of officers and servants of the institutions, upkeep of the buildings, and loan charges.
