asked the Minister of Labour whether he is aware that Miss Hannah Sheen, a tailoress, of 59, Church Row, Limehouse, has been deprived of unemployment benefit at the Mansell Street Employment Exchange on account of her refusal to take work below the Trade Board rate of wages; and whether he will give instructions to ensure that the Trade Board rates are observed, and that workers are not penalised for refusing to work for employers who are contravening the law?
