§ Sir W. JOYNSON-HICKSI have been asked to reply. I regret that the information asked for is not available. I may, however, refer the hon. and gallant Member to the volumes of the Census Reports for 1921 (England and Wales) dealing with "Occupations," Table 7 on page 122 of which gives a summarised statement of the number of aliens engaged in different occupations in England and Wales at that date. Similar figures in respect of aliens in Scotland are given in Table 10 on page 258 of the corresponding volume of the Census Reports for Scotland.
