asked the Minister of Health the total amount advanced in 1924 and 1925, respectively, under the Workmen's Dwelling Act; and how many houses would this represent in each year?
Information is not available showing the actual amounts advanced by local authorities during the years in question to owner-occupiers and others for house purchase and erection, but the amounts of loans sanctioned by my Department to local authorities for the purpose of making these advances were as follow:—
