HC Deb 09 December 1926 vol 200 c2322W
Mr. F. HALL

asked the Home Secretary whether he proposes to introduce legislation to repeal the prohibition of the sale of tobacco goods in hotels, restaurants, public-houses, theatres, music halls and other places of public resort after 8 o'clock at night, so that persons desirous of being supplied with such goods at convenient times may not be denied the right of purchasing the same?

Captain HACKING

I regret I can add nothing to the replies given by the Home Secretary to the questions asked on this subject by the hon. and gallant Member for North Croydon (Lieut.-Colonel Mason), by the hon. Member for East Islington (Mr. Tasker) on the 12th November last, and by the hon. Member for Great Yarmouth (Sir Frank Meyer), on the 29th November.
