asked the Secretary of State for Air the annual cost of training Air Force cadets, together with the number of cadets now undergoing training, to the last convenient date?

Sir S. HOARE:

As regards annual cost, I would refer the hon. and gal- lant Member to the reply given to my hon. Friend the Member for Rusholme by the Chancellor of the Exchequer on the 18th February and my reply of the 24th February. No later cost figure has been worked out. The number of cadets now at Cranwell is 104.
