§ Mr. ORMSBY-GOREThe northern boundary of Trans-Jordan was defined by the Anglo-French Convention of the 23rd of December, 1920, and the western by the memorandum presented to the League of Nations by the British representative and approved by the Council on the 23rd of September, 1922. No alteration has taken place in these boundaries. The southern and eastern boundaries have not yet been precisely defined.
