§ Mr. CASSELSasked the Under-Secretary of State for the Home Department, as representing the First Commissioner of Works, why for some years a picture of a meeting of the Anti-Slavery Convention in London, in June, 1840, has been hanging in the central hall of the Royal Courts of Justice; and whether, in view of its lack of artistic merit and of harmony with its surroundings, he will have this picture removed?
