§ Mr. GERALD HURSTasked the Minister of Labour on what grounds the manager of the Manchester Employment Exchange reported on 20th March to the Manchester postmaster that J. H. Speakman, of 10, Coral Street, Chorlton-on- 2441W Medlock, Manchester, is ineligible for Post Office employment; whether he is aware that this ex-service man was discharged with a good character from the Cheshire Regiment after considerable, experience in the Indian Telegraph Department and that the effect of this Report has been the loss of Speakman's prospective job as a Post Office telegraphist and his retransfer to unemployment relief; and whether he will have the Report in question reviewed?
