§ Sir K. WOODThe Clause defining agricultural parishes was debated at considerable length during the passage of the 1924 Housing Bill, and Amendments were made which had the effect of considerably widening the scope of the Clause as originally drafted. My right hon. Friend does not think it could be said, therefore, that the Section does not carry out the intentions of Parliament, and he is afraid he cannot at present contemplate introducing further legislation on the subject.
