HC Deb 21 May 1924 vol 173 cc2217-8W
Sir T. BRAMSDON

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty if he will investigate the disability under which officers and men of the Royal Navy labour on account of the high cost of living on the North America and West Indies Station, with a view to the reintroduction of the allowance of the rate of exchange that formerly obtained on that station?

Mr. ALEXANDER

It is not considered that the changes which have occurred since the matter was last considered are sufficient to justify holding such an investigation.
