Gentleman the Member for North-West Camberwell (Dr. Macnamara) and Sir Montague Barlow; and, if so, what are the total numbers?
§ Mr. SHAWReturns of the number of aliens in whose cases the local employment committees recommend refusal of uncovenanted benefit have been kept since May, 1923, the date at which the late Government made aliens resident in this country since 1st January, 1911, eligible for such benefit. The number of refusals between May, 1923, and January, 1924, was 261.
