HC Deb 04 March 1924 vol 170 c1203W
Mr. GREENE

asked the Secretary of State for War by what date it is likely to be decided whether the War Office houses at Norton, Worcester, are required for public purposes; and whether, in the event of their not being so required, he will take steps to ensure that the best offer to buy or rent be accepted immediately and will rescind the conditions at present insisted on by his Department?

Mr. WALSH

With regard to the first part of the question, I can only say at present that I hope a decision will be given very shortly. With regard to the second part, every effort will be made to obtain an acceptable offer as soon as possible, and the houses will be disposed of when such an offer has been received.
