HC Deb 04 June 1924 vol 174 c1271W
Mr. MOSLEY

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, having regard to the public interest in the proceedings of this House and the recommendation of the Select Committee on Publications and Debates Reports, he can see his way to reducing the prices of the OFFICIAL REPORT to a sum which will make it available to the large numbers of persons who are now unable to purchase it owing to its high price?

Mr. GRAHAM

I am afraid that actual experience does not support my hon. Friend's suggestion that a further reduction in price would largely increase the circulation. I would point out that, under arrangements made by the present Government, the Reports are now supplied to public libraries at half price.
