§ Mr. BAKERasked the Home Secretary whether he is aware that the German Government has introduced wireless receivers in certain prisons in order to test the educational value of selected broadcast programmes: and whether he will examine the possibilities of such a development, in this country?
Mr. HENDERSONThis matter has already been carefully considered by the Prison Commissioners, but they have not thought it desirable to make use of the broadcast programmes in prisons.
